EXPOSURE THERAPY
A collection observing our ability to adapt alongside chaos -- we drop in, out of necessity, and meet ourselves on the other side. These paintings are milestones of change, a collection of learnings and reminders for others dropping into the unknown circumstances of their lives. They are created with a lot water, over time -- in fits of inspiration, grief and sometimes peace. See each of their names in this light.

Exposure Therapy is a term I’m most accustomed to as it pertains to outdoor pursuits. The act of exposing yourself to, say, steep grades or large gaps. Through that exposure, you adapt, more able to take on those situations with less fear.
In the past I’d experienced this concept frequently on snow and dirt. But of late, I’ve found more than enough exposure therapy throughout life in general -- A constant collision of light and dark, scraping away at an evolved flow alongside pivotal transitions. I’m sure you can relate.
These pieces are milestones of change. Each an omen to share with you. They are created with a lot water, over time -- in fits of inspiration, grief and sometimes peace.
