A winding river commission
Right now I’m trying to finish up a commission for a couple in Portland, Oregon. This is a special place that they continually go back to get outside and find peace. I think they wanted to bring that feeling they get out there into their home.
We used a few photos they have taken as reference, using clouds and light effects we liked in one, paired with the vantage point of another. It’s always exciting to create something completely new and unseen. This always happens with commissions, the end result is something I would never have come up with on my own, I find that to be a nice twist to the creative process.
